best cowboy hat

This hat looks cool from afar but the tea stained look is actually brown paint sprayed on a straw hat. It does flake off.

This hat is junk. The hat is made out of cheap materials, and it completely fell apart in my hands when I tried to shape it a little bit. The "stained" look is painted on (and flakes off), as another reviewer mentioned. The little clip in the front of the hat popped right off, and the little strands of material started tearing apart. The hat was also HUGE, but maybe my head is smaller than average? Don't waste your money on this hat. The company obviously put more money into tags, labels, and packaging rather than the hat itself. A better quality hat could be purchased at Old Navy or somewhere similar.

I purchased this hat last month for our trip to Cabo. My son wanted a cowboy hat for his sunhat and it "had to not look girly". I wanted something that shaded his neck on top of his face. This fit the bill great. The hat was light weight, shapeable for a custom fit, and held up to the winds of deep sea fishing. For us it has a unisex basic appearance that can be easily customizable should you want to. Or it can be a great basic and you could pop a necklace or other jewelry. I will point out though that the color is more of a carmel brown than the lighter brown pictured here.
